Wanted: Promotional Manager
The Joshua Monten Dance Company is looking for a promotional manager to complement our existing team. Based in Bern, Switzerland, our company gives around 150 performances each year at venues for contemporary dance, street theater and children’s programming.
Requirements:
—Experience in the diffusion and production of contemporary dance
—Pre-existing network of programmers in the field
—Strong communication skills in French, English and (if possible) German
The position includes the following activities:
—Preparing and sending information about our touring productions to programmers
—Assisting our team with strategic planning, tour management, funding applications and social media presence
—Occasionally traveling to participate in networking events
The total amount of work would be between 15% and 30% of a full-time position and is negotiable. The exact starting date is also negotiable.
