“Mission Drift” is a new all-terrain dance performance: playful, acrobatic and curious. Who needs an airplane to get somewhere new? The choreography for two dancers explores the adventures to be had when exploring a very narrow space, measuring no more than four meters square.

Their odyssey begins on the ground, thoroughly exploring all of the paths and perspectives available in this little space, and getting nowhere fast.

The journey continues when the two characters meet and touch, and the movement grows more intimate and acrobatic. Each other person’s body is a landscape to explore: a mountain to climb, a sea to swim, a wonderland. A hunger for adventure drifts into something rather more personal.

The choreography is a celebration of uninhibited curiosity, unexpected detours and impossible missions.
