Consent is in movement
The new dance production “YES/NO” focuses on the complexities of expressing agreement and disagreement. It features scenes of radical positivity, profound negativity, and quite a few mixtures of the two. The most basic of words, repeated often, accumulate and transform into a journey through the intricacies of human communication: the interplay between spoken and body language, the tension between what we feel and what we say, and the enduring difficulty of knowing what we want and communicating this to others.
“YES/NO” is a playful, virtuosic and interactive one hour-long dance production for four dancers. The seating is arranged on multiple sides of the stage — providing the audience with an unusually vivid experience of live performance, and the possibility of direct interactions with the performers.
